Digvir Jayas - Appointment to the Order of Canada

The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) congratulates Dr. Digvir S. Jayas, Vice-President (Research and International) at the University of Manitoba and NSERC’s interim President, on his appointment as an Officer of the Order of Canada.
Dr. Jayas is an expert in grain storage with more than 900 published articles to his credit. He was nominated for his “advancements to agricultural practices worldwide, and for his promotion of academic and scientific research in Canada.”
